About
Sophie is a Qualified Clinical Nutritionist and Naturopath.
Sophie obtains a Bachelor of Health Science and is an accredited member of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society. Sophie is here to support and optimise your health and wellbeing using a holistic approach. As naturopathic principles are based on treating the whole person, not just the presenting symptoms, Sophie delves deep into your health history to identify the root cause of your health concerns. Our bodies have the inherent ability to repair and restore and Sophie supports this through the utilisation of evidence-based herbal medicine, nutritional medicine, dietary modifications, and lifestyle recommendations.
There is no ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach and Sophie tailors your treatment plan to your unique and individual needs. After a diagnosis of polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) in 2008, Sophie began her own health journey and now is a mother to delightful two-year-old Bodhi via natural conception. Sophies areas of interest include supporting women’s health and the ebbs and flows of hormones through all life stages.
Sophie has particular interest in the following:
Women’s health and hormones - menstrual irregularities, anovulation, PMS, amenorrhoea, PCOS, acne, hirsutism, endometriosis, fertility, preconception care, pregnancy, postpartum, and menopause.
Children’s health - starting solids, digestive issues, skin conditions, immune support, sleep issues, and behavioural concerns.
Gut health - bloating, irregular bowels, food intolerances, SIBO, IBS, reflux/heartburn, and candida.
Mental health - anxiety, depression, fatigue, insomnia, headaches, and migraines.
Sophie looks forward to working alongside you in your health journey.
